Asian Artistry note cards (set of 2)

I have been popping around on Sandi McIver's blog on and off for a few weeks now and noticed these brayered note cards a while back and decided to give them a go. I ended up just doing two, as my other two didn't turn out well, but I'm happy with them nonetheless. I also left off the little circle circus medallion, in part because I don't have the set and didn't want to try using something else, and in part because I liked the clean look of the cards without it!

I did make a little goof when I was making the sun on the green card, but it was easily fixed with a blender pen and some Brilliant blue ink and I actually like it better this way! I was masking for the sun, but forgot to mask the bird so that the sun ended up behind the bird--it looked kind of goofy to have the sun in the middle of the bird's body! So out with the blender pen, a bit of blue ink and voila! All better.
