Embrace Life project

So now I can tell you what my project from the other day was for. My upline, Claire, lets me mooch tons of rides off her to our various Philly Inkers meetings and events. We have a car, but try not to drive it much and in any case, parking in our neighborhood is a major pain after 8 p.m. So the last time Claire and I were together for a car ride, she mentioned frequently running out of cards to send to people because she sends so many. So I thought, well, I'll make her a set of cards as a thank you for all those rides! I gave them to her last night before we headed out (with Boo in tow) for a (very fun) downline meeting in New Jersey at Kristin's house.

I made twelve of these one day last week during a lull in the screaming and nursing and I'm really happy with the way they came out. I did some marker-watercolor action on the big flowers and cut them all out. The project also conveniently used up almost all of my Cameo Coral card stock which will be retired as of tomorrow!
