A friend is reading Edith Schaeffer right now, and I'm thinking of picking up one of her books sometime soon. I like the idea of meditations on homemaking, and while I'm not up for it just yet, I think I will be by the fall. In any case, I think this quote dovetails nicely with yesterday's post.

yes. I was thinking the same, how her book goes very well with the one you are reading... she is an author that I think many would be surprised to find how relevant she is to our times.
